She lives in Silicon Valley, CA with her husband and 2 young children. She is passionate about social impact, women empowerment, and paying it forward. She participates in medical missions and has been to Mexico, Guatemala, and Vietnam providing medical care for underserved communities. She is an advisor to women entrepreneurs. Dr. Javed supports and volunteers with multiple charities; some of which are the International Rescue Committee, International Medical Relief, Project Glimmer, FeedAmerica, and many others.
